As long as it's black." At least, that is how the saying goes. This blog has been created by me, under the pseudonym of Davis Claypool, in order to flex my intellectual muscles and endeavor toward a more formal writing experience. Certainly it will still have my distinctive style, which can be seen far more clearly in my maiden blogging experience, "Paper Clips". However, I shall be far less whimsical on this end. No, this blog, more than simply expressing simple, childish sentiments and making jokes while I scratch the surface of my mind, will attempt to delve more deeply into the mysteries of my intellect, for the sake of helping me to understand not only the world, but myself as well. I will, however, continue the tradition of having (in my opinion) witty and relevant titles to my posts. This particular title refers to the colours of both of these blogs which I have created.
"Why black?" you (and, in fact, I myself) may be wondering? Is there some subconscious connection to the colour? Not at all. It's just easier to read, really. I do not mean to wholly rule out such an unintentional attraction to black, because, for all I know, it may be there. On the surface, though, it is purely out of convenience.
This is just a primer. I should hope to update this blog as much as its companion, and to elaborate on any ideas presented briefly there. However, if you delve through the hyperlink and check it out, you will know that I do so quite sparingly. I will be using this, though, because I need this one. Probably even moreso than the other.
